Great Mamaroneck store. Plenty of parking. Staff sometimes talk amongst themselves about happy, funny subjects, which is great and makes me laugh. Can’t say the same for every hardware store whose employees loudly talk amongst themselves about immature or depressing subjects! Yuk! Getting to the store is annoying because of the traffic, but it’s the closest Wallhauer/Ace.

Hi there! I’m in between the two current locations of New Rochelle and Mamaroneck so sometimes I go to the one in Mamaroneck and sometimes to the New Rochelle location. Both are great – the people, their bbq grills, etc. but it would be nice if there was one in my town too.

I love the feeling when you can look forward to going to a store. It makes the drive there kinda fun. Knowing that the new Mamaroneck location has plenty of parking calms me down too. Inside, i can feel the energy of a budding establishment. It makes me want to stay in the store and keep shopping! … oh boy. The fact that it’s also an ACE HARDWARE is something i wish i had thought of. We all need to get the word out about this store through social media, word of mouth etc. but with a store in New Rochelle and now in Mamaroneck, on behalf of many, can you please open a Wallhauer/ACE store in between the two cities, in Larchmont?

Mamaroneck finally has a hardware store once again. This time it’s much bettr than the disheveled one it replaces which was a hardware store from a different company. The workers at that old place put the store, and themselves, out of business. This store is much bettr. It’s all new inside and out, has plenty of parking, and has a full selection of products (grills, paint supplies, plumbng, electrical, lightbulbs). I was also greeted by many workers. One with a nice sense of humor, unintentionally or not. We need more Wallhaurer stores in and around this area. Thank you.

I was recommended to your store by a friend and I was so appreciative of the paint color advice that Susan gave me. She is patient, knowledgeable, and soothing as I was so stressed choosing paint colors.  She was right on target for colors for my home painting project Thank you!!!

Wendy H at the Scarsdale location is the best! I walked into the show room one day by chance after receiving some quotes for window treatments from other companies, as I just wanted to see some full-size examples. Wendy greeted me and although I live outside the service area for this particular location I never felt like my business was not important. I followed up with Wendy and she helped me pick out some great designs for oversized windows with high ceilings. Even through my indecisiveness and hesitation to commit to one design, Wendy was helpful at exploring options and ensuring I was satisfied with the decision. Best of all the overall price was less than the other vendors I’ve received in New York City. Highly recommended and a great overall experience.

Lexi was very attentive to all our many requests for various estimates on our Hunter Douglas window treatments. She took a lot of time with us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. The job was completed in 3 weeks and we are very happy with the results. I highly recommend Wallauer’s and Lexi. ?

I highly recommend Wallauer’s Design Center in White Plains! Laura Nally, the Design Manager is the best! She is very professional and courteous and has exquisite taste. She helped me pick the perfect fabric and design for my living room curtains and the installation was terrific too. Laura also has amazing talent for picking the perfect paint colors. She is up on all the latest trends in color for every room in the house. In addition, Laura is very responsive and easy to work with. I will go back to Wallauer’s Design Center for all of my design needs in the future!

Wallauer Paint & Design has great design consultants. Ask for Lexi she picked out the best Benjamin Moore colors for my client. And Laura has a perfect eye for wallpaper and colors I love all the stores of Walhowers they have a friendly and great staff and very good at what they do which is decorating your home to perfection

I highly recommend Wallauer’s in White Plains. We needed arched window treatments for our bedroom windows, and Laura, the Design Manager, was very helpful. My husband and I thought we knew what would look good, but Laura gave us some other suggestions, and she was spot on! The bedroom looks amazing with our new blinds. Laura was also very patient with us, as it seemed to take forever for us to make up our minds. We will definitely be going back soon to consult with Laura on paint color ideas for our dining room!

Yes I would and have recommended Wallauer’s in Nanuet. Debby is very knowledgeable and courteous. Debby loves what she does and will go out of her way to make sure your project is everything you imagined and more.

Wallauer in Bedford Hills is my go to place for paint, hardware and design. Everyone is always extremely helpful. Laura in the design center has worked with me for over 10 years. Her expertise with paint colors, wallpaper and window treatments are always on point. I highly recommend her and the rest of the staff in the design center.

Laura was recommended to me by a professional designer with whom I have worked for many years. Laura has helped me with solutions for windows in multiple rooms in my home, including skylight covers for two separate locations (this was after we used another vendor who installed covers that repeatedly malfunctioned). I love working with Laura – she is extremely responsive, and the work her installers do is excellent. I always call her when I need window treatments and will continue to use her in the future.

Jane from the design team came to my home to help me decide on paint/wall treatments, and I could not have been happier with the service. Based on my vague descriptions she completely read my mind and showed me colors that were perfect for me. I had been so overwhelmed with all the options and she made it so easy. Everyone at Wallauer has been really great to work with, and the quality of the product is exceptional. We will definitely continue to use them for our future home projects.

Susan from the design center is easy to work with and will help you find what works for you.

I walk into a paint store and I immediately start to hyperventilate. So many colors, so many whites. I have in the past labored over paint colors and sheens. Today, I decided to eliminate the angst and anxiety. I contacted the Wallauer Paint and Design Center . I am so excited that I will be working with a professional that can assist me in color and sheen. They were extremely professional. I received a call in less than an hour to make an appointment.
I am relieved already and am looking forward to working with them. I know for the first time, I will love the choices and not have to repaint!!!!

If I could give this a negative rating I would. Wallauer took measurements of my windows to install cordless blinds. They never warned me that the windows were too large for cordless, and sure enough, within 6 months, they had problems and were not working properly. Laura, the manager at Bedford Hills is one of the most unprofessional people I have EVER come across. She fought tooth and nail over replacing them, and instead wanted to repair them and leave me without black out shades for nearly a month in my toddlers’ bedrooms. This is after collecting from me $16,000 for the original, faulty shades. She finally realized how unreasonable that was (after several horrendous conversations with her, during which she mocked me loudly on the phone to the Wallauer installation employee at my house, spoke extremely condescendingly towards me, and was outright difficult). Yet when the cord loop blinds arrived, the cord loop was too long and I had safety concerns for my children. The installation employee me assured me we could do a shorter cord loop, and took measurements for same. He promised me to return within a week with the shorter loops. That never happened and an entire MONTH later, Laura informed me that they would not be returning at all and that she was washing her hands of this. No mention of the money I paid to her. No mention of the promises she and Wallaeur employees made to me. I am DISGUSTED. There are SO many blinds places with professionalism and courtesy to their customers – save yourself my headache and take your business anywhere else.

Wallauer’s service and products are excellent and affordable. And they make it easy to help determine your needs, set up a time to measure, and deliver the products! The Ossining branch is the one I’ve dealt with, and the service continues to be amazing!

Shout out to Wallauer’s in Port Chester, NY. I have only had the best experiences with their design team. They truly have gone above and beyond for me so many times. I recommend them wholeheartedly!!!!

Laura in the N. White Plains store is THE expert in the blind department. We love the product she help us find. The blinds arrived a week earlier than we thought they would. The look is exactly what we were looking for and the price was right and cheaper than other stores in the area for the same, if not better, quality. Thank you, Laura. Laura Natty at the Bedford Hills store went above and beyond helping me in a dispute with a wallpaper company. She spent over a month fighting for me. In addition Laura has a great eye for color and design and a very professional yet personal way of working with customers.
